Establishing a circle is not a big deal but it is difficult to run. Our Dattaseva Mandal is the true Mandal that stands firm after overcoming all difficulties. Dattaseva Mandal was established by Anand Maingade (Dada) did it in the year 1984. If you want to do a social work, you have to do it with the idea of the society in mind. Today marks 38 years since Dattaseva Mandal was established.

Shri Datta Mandir was renovated through Dattaseva Mandal. There is a small incident behind this. Mr. Anand Maingade (Dada) had gone to the village with his friend. After dinner, reading was going on in the house-like temple in the center of the village. His friend asked what’s going on there? Then Dada took them to the temple. When he went there, he asked, “You say this is the Datta temple, but there is no Datta idol.” Then Dada told him that this place of the temple is public. The villagers opposed this and decided to build a Datta temple. All the villagers worked hard to build the temple, but before the idols could be installed, the mill workers went on strike, so further work remained. So no idols were installed in the temple. Then his friend suggested that we should pay homage to Dattamurti in this temple. Similarly, Dada and his friends, with the help of their colleagues and villagers, set up the Dattamurti and since then the Datta Janmotsav has been celebrated by the Mandal. During Datta Janmotsav, Parayan Sohala, Bhajan, Kirtan, and various sports competitions are organized.

Our board is working with the understanding that “public service is God’s service”. The Board has been at the forefront of all work for the last 38 years. The board conducts activities like bright student felicitation, blood donation camp, health camp, felicitation of meritorious teachers etc. The Mhasoba temple has also been renovated by the Mandal. The board intends to implement many activities in the village. The government is following up on Sahakari Bazar. Also state-of-the-art gymnasiums, sports centers, health centers, agricultural guidance centers, district bank branches and Sahakari markets, etc. The name of the board has been brightened and the players of this sports board have also been selected in the Railway Police.

After the establishment of Datta Murti, it was decided to set up Dattaseva Sahakari Patpedhi through the Mandal keeping in view the need to keep the society together and to make any event a success. To establish a credit bureau through a board at Dilai Road, Mumbai. Mr. Anand Maingade decided to set up a credit bureau in a very backward area like Malvani as permission was not granted at Dilai Road at that time and accordingly Dattaseva Sahakari Patpedhi Maryadit Mumbai was established in 1987. The first two years work of the organization continued at the residence of Anand Maingade (Dada). After that he took office at Malvani and started office. Today, the organization has a total of 18 Malwani, Goregaon, Gorai, Jogeshwari (W), Kandivali, Jogeshwari (East), Malad (East), Nahur, Naigaon, Shedgewadi, Mhada Malwani, Dahisar, Bhandup, Nalasopara, Turukwadi, Ghatkopar, Andheri, Virar, Bhivandi, Dadar, Bhainder, Shirala (Sangali), Undale (Satara), Ishwerpur (Sangali), Kolhapur, Goregaon (East), Miraroad (Thane), Digha (Thane), Panvel (Raigad) and Khar (East) Branches are working. All the branches are computerized and all the branches are connected through internet. The working capital of the society is 597 crores and the number of members is 89613. Dattaseva Sahakari Patpedhi Maryadit Mumbai has a total of 334 Employees with 207 Employees and 117 Daily Collection Worker.

Every year on Dattaseva Ganeshotsav, the idol of Lord Ganesha is revered in the head office of the organization, and Shri Satyanarayana Puja is organised on the occasion. In today’s age of competition, our rural students should not be left behind. Shri Dutt Shikshan Prasarak Mandal was established in 2003 with the sole objective of making him like a student from Mumbai, Pune, giving him a chance to develop his talents, intellectual development, prosperity, and the name of his school as well as the name of his entire region in Maharashtra. Mr. Anandrao Maingade and on 18th January 2004 the Speaker of the Legislative Council, Shri. Shivajirao Deshmukh’s auspicious hand, laid the foundation. It was Dada’s dream to have a well-equipped and well-equipped school in his area. Due to his perseverance and the cooperation of the board, the school started on June 16, 2005. The birds started coming towards the school with Evely Eve and with their chirping, all the sky of the school was opened and the dream of Dada came true. Within a short time, the school began to make a name for itself in the area. The efficient teachers gave their morale to the children to participate in any competition due to their untiring efforts so that the three students of the school were able to achieve success in various competitions. Not only that, 162 children participated in the state level colouring competition. Kamble Sir was honoured with the "Shikshakaratna" award. There is nothing wrong with saying "Sahase Shri Prativasati". Mr. Samarth’s admonition, "Effort is like a grain of sand, oil is like a throat," can be the key to the success of the Board.
